With nearly 15 years of experience as a primary school teacher, my passion for learning, development, and play has evolved alongside the growth of my own family.

I am a firm believer in play-based education, a belief that resonates in the programming at The Yard. Newcastle. I am dedicated to providing tailor-made experiences for children of all ages, aiming to encapsulate essential benefits derived from STEM and loose parts play.

While being a mum is my most significant achievement in life, it hasn't been without its share of challenges and, of course, the demanding yet rewarding journey of hard work!
