But it’s hard to provide the right materials, manage the process, and resist stepping in — especially when time and energy are limited.
How the Makery helps
We set up the space and provide materials — children decide how they want to create. Adults can focus on enjoying the moment.
What is the Makery?
The Makery is an indoor making space where children and adults create using real materials, real tools, and their own ideas.
It’s made up of three creative zones:
• The Craft Bar — choose a base and add materials in your own way
• The Tool Shed — build and construct using real tools
• The Splatter Room — explore paint, movement, and mess freely
There are no instructions to follow and no expected outcome. Making happens at your own pace, in your own way.
